The Importance of the Funeral
The death of a loved one is a traumatic experience causing one to feel a variety of reactions including anger, depression, anxiety, confusion and emotional numbness. Such reactions are a part of the healing grief process, as is the funeral ritual and ceremony which with the help and support of family, friends, clergy and the funeral director can be, and in our judgment, should be designed and conducted to meet the needs and desires of the family and loved ones to express their emotions, thoughts and ideas in positive and constructive ways leading to acknowledgment and acceptance that there is indeed "another tomorrow."
The Funeral Director's Role
Planning and making funeral arrangements for a loved one is a most difficult and stressful task. Yet it is an important responsibility as well. We at BTS Memorial Chapel are dedicated to guiding you through this process by understanding your needs and wishes so we may offer you the support and service options which best respect these needs and wishes.

- Non-Traditional Service - This option may include a visitation prior to a secular service conducted by a celebrant or other ceremony leader selected by the family
- Cremation and Memorial Services - Families may select cremation as an alternative to burial, and still have a traditional or non-traditional service. Others may elect to cremate and then have a Memorial Service
